00h30 UTC; SATURDAY, 19 OCTOBER 2013: Oftentimes, it's been said that "a picture is worth a thousand words."

As no doubt explaineth my habit of having some sort of an amusing image, usually found via Facebook, lead off these posts; the better to attract interest and heighten attention.

Especially if it just so happens that there may be linkworthiness inherent, thereby increasing the potential response. Whether it actually works is anybody's guess, what with my limited resources making it difficult to establish a full and proper analysis of click-thoughs off my blog posts, let alone blog traffic per se.

For some worthwhile examples of how powerful a Facebook status update can be in "winning over hearts and minds" (and perhaps more effectively than through more conventional links within the posts), consider the following (and click on the images to read the related content for yourself):

And come to think of it, readers, how do we know the "families" in question that Sean Hannity had to try and discredit the Affordable Care Act weren't really actors recruited by Fox News under misleading pretenses, even to the extent of being coached and prompted on what to say and how to act before the camera?

Oh, and BTW: If you think such a concept as this goes a little too far, or may have serious value as a propaganda tactic, do feel free to leave your comments in the Facebook comment link as follows these posts. Or, if you're privacy-obsessed, send me an e-mail through the feedback form towards the bottom of the page.
