15h50 UTC; SATURDAY, 28 APRIL 2012: Something which the weird and unwholesome element (especially so the "Tea Party" and their drookies in the Elmer Gantry camp vis-a-vis Indecision 2012) would just love to relish, drooling and smecking in their Luscious Glory of victory, is nothing less than power.

Especially that as defined thus by George Orwell in his Nineteen Eighty Four:
(O'Brien speaking to Winston:)"...The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from all the oligarchies of the past, in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. "...Obedience is not enough. Unless he is suffering, how can you be sure that he is obeying your will and not his own? Power is in inflicting pain and humiliation. Power is in tearing human minds to pieces and putting them together again in new shapes of your own choosing. Do you begin to see, then, what kind of world we are creating?"
That last bit about "tearing apart human minds to pieces and putting them together again in new shapes of your own choosing" should be of especial concern, readers, what with the GOP, in its desire to reclaim that Golden Apple known as the White House in its Luscious Glory from President Barack Obama in Indecision 2012, wanting to willfully undermine the economy and place the blame upon President Obama through "Big Lie"-stylee prolefeed. The eventual hope being one of (paraphrasing O'Brien here) "tearing our existing economy to pieces and putting it together again in new shapes of our own choosing."

Said "new shapes," methinks, being those based on the Afrikaner Nationalist socioeconomic platform conceived as the legacy of Die Tweede Trek, that manufactured appeal to Afrikaner National Unity and Cohesion, vintage 1938, as conceived of by the hyper-Freemasonic Afrikaner Broederbond and its "public face," as it were, of the Federasie van Afrikaner Kultuurbeleggings (FAK; "Federation of Afrikaner Cultural Organisations"); same seen as a response to the "corrupting influences" of city life and the "unhealthy" influences of labour unions which the Humble, Pious and God-Fearing Afrikaner faced in having to leave the rural ideal of the farm and the countryside and move to the cities to find work, thereby endangering their morals and Calvinist-inspired values.

Which, in its turn, led to a spread of "poor whiteism" aggravated by the Great Depression which Afrikaner thought insisted was not possible among the Good Christians such as Afrikaners were expected to be with regards to their character and values thanks to the competition for cheap labour among industry.

In its turn prompting certain prominent Afrikaners, in particular Boer War chaplain "Vader" J. D. Kestell, to call for a mighty and spontaneous appeal to Reddingsdaad ("rescue action") based on Ethno-National Cohesion and Solidarity, rather than the "enslaving dependency" of State Charity and the "pious sentiment" thereby engendered, to save the Afrikaner and reclaim their rightful place of honour, of entitlement, of Luscious Glory entitled them since the first such under Jan van Riebeck established the Cape of Good Hope colony in 1656, only to be compromised all the more under the British starting with the Slagters Nek Martyrdoms as prompted the original Voortrek across the Karoo into the Promised Land of the Highveldt, only to be further compromised by British influence over the gold and diamonds discoveries as translated into the Boer War and the British extermination camps wherein thousands of pious and humble Afrikaner women and children were martyred, and whose martyr cries arise from the Nasionale Vrouwemonument's precincts.

The Reddingsdaad expected to take form of a spontaneous and wholehearted appeal to Afrikaner Honour as expected every last Afrikaner to give what they could into a fund as would finally empower the Afrikaner socioeconomically towards its rightful Luscious Glory in the form of "productive capital" leveraged into Afrikaner-owned business and industry expected to create jobs for poor Afrikaners with training into useful occupations which, in its turn, would generate Afrikaner earnings and purchasing power that, in its turn, would be further harnessed into further "productive capital," and so on, and so on, To Infinity and Beyond!

(Otherwise known as the "jingling coin" in form of profit as would supplant the "pious sentiment" which the Afrikaner had heretofore been reduced under British influence, or so the Afrikaner litany went; however, the profit motive expected out of a new Volkskapitalisme--"people's capitalism"--to be thereby engendered was expected to be subordinate to the empowerment of the Afrikaner. Especially when the element of Helpmekaar--"help[ing] each other"--came into the equation, theoretically taking the form of Afrikaner-centrist cooperatives, savings banks and building societies ... which, in Reality, involved Afrikaner Broederbond connexions with the likes of life insurer Sanlam and the Volkskas bank, originally conceived as a mutual such but later demutualised to expand its lending and financial base.

(Sanlam's involvement in the whole campaign of Reddingsdaad was, considering its rather unhealthy ties with the Broederbond, seen as one of "mutual interest", particularly considering where Sanlam was entrusted to manage the Federale Volksbeleggings [FVB; "Federal People's Investments"] investment fund on its founding in 1940 ... and in 1948, would extend to Bonuskor, a mutual fund in which Sanlam's policyholders were encouraged to assign their rights to bonuses on their policies by converting such into Bonuskor shares. In effect milking to the hilt Sanlam's longtime slogan of "Born out of the Volk to serve the Volk.")

As for the rank-and-file Afrikaner thereby "empowered," they were encouraged to join up with the Reddingsdaadbond ("Rescue Pact League;" motto, 'n Volk red homself--"a people rescues itself") out of a sense of Afrikaner and Christian Nationalist Unity and Duty thanks to its promoting an Afrikaner Kultuur and Identity, not to mention providing loans, grants and bursaries to "deserving" Afrikaners seeking to study business and industrial trades; offering loans to "deserving" Afrikaner small business owners to assist with startup and expansion (made by the FAK's Economic Institute); and encouraging Afrikaners to patronise and invest in Afrikaner-owned businesses out of Volkseenheid ("organic unity of the people"), not to mention dealing with Afrikaner-owned banks, building societies and insurance companies. (One unlikely byproduct of membership: 2d of the 6d monthly membership subscription went towards a £10 burial plan managed by AVBOB, an Afrikaner-owned burial society, on behalf of the Reddingsdaadbond.)

The which, as it turned out, would sow the seeds of South Africa's apartheid regime in its Luscious Glory of institutionalised, scientific even, racism and bigotry "For My God and My Country" as held sway from 1948, right through its independence in 1961, up until 1994.

The preceding, no doubt, sounding like the plot of what may turn out being a rather campy, shark-jumper even, historical cinematic epic rivalling Atlas Shrugged Part I in sheer camp manipulated for prolefeed value (as if hoping to inspire the Great Unwashed of Our Dear Lovely Nation, the "REAL AmeriKKKan" Fox News Channel and conservative talkback radio idolises in their Luscious Glory of jingoism, poor, undereducated, easily-led "white trash" seeing Poverty, Fecundity and Ignorance as the Other Holy Trinity, to study and emulation thereof towards thus Reclaiming Our Dear Lovely Nation to Our God and Our Country), with overtures of such specimens of the genre popular from the mid-1960's until the late 1970's as The Longest Day, The Battle of Britain, Tora! Tora! Tora! and Midway, to name some of the more familiar examples likely to be thus emulate.

The whole to be financed in large part by the likes of "Tea Party", White Christian Nationalist and suchlike causes, sects and movements buying shares in the venture, with both American and South African partners (especially such exploiting the somewhat pathetic call to Solidarity with the Afrikaner Peoples of South Africa in Clear and Present Danger of Genocidal Persecution for as much their Noble and Glorious Race as their Pious and Humble Faith, hoping such a film will "aid the cause," as it were).

And hoping all the while to rival the Nazis' last-ditch cinematic Wunderwaffe known as the historical epic Kolberg, released in the death throes of the Nazi regime just weeks before V-E Day in May of 1945 ... only to become its own worst joke when it leaves the cutting-room floor, notwithstanding attempts by the Conservative Prolefeed Masheen to reprise the "David Manning" ruse in promotional efforts. (Especially when it turns out that the whole project is expected to be sugar-coated to the point of hagiographic, glossing over its eventual interconnexion to the apartheid regime's coming to power and its failing to recognise that the October 1939 Ekonomesie Volkskongres in Bloemfontein, whence much of the socioeconomic agenda took final form, was essentially a closed-door "rubberstamp" of what the "inner circles" of the Broederbond were devising all along in its name and majesty.)

Too, there's also the danger for where subliminal content could be easily slipped into the final print just before release, never mind that such is actually deceptive because of its working on the unconscious mind and its potential for psychological harm.

Yet though I'm not aware of any such cinematic project as the preceding actually being in production (or, for that matter, pre-production, especially when it comes to fleshing out the script and related historical research as can be perverted and manipulated in the final product), the prospect thereof needs to be watched. And called out for its potential risk to the psyche of the Nation and the Lower Classes seeking viable avenues for to save themselves socioeconomically and at once legitimately (with the brains behind the whole expected to see the ensuing byproducts applied to AmeriKKKan conditions as, after the North Korean stylee, "people-centred." Not to mention, as per Sanlam's early slogan, "born out of the Volk to serve the Volk"--so long as such was rooted in ekonomesie vryheid met Amerikaanse eienskappe all the while).
