With both the United States of America and our brethren in Canada marking Labour Day today, and with it the unofficial, traditional even, conclusion of the summer season (what with schools starting tomorrow in some parts of the country), perhaps such may want to be a reminder to all of us that workers have as much rights as business owners.

And that the former especially need to be defended if the very concept of ekonomesie vryheid met Amerikaanse eienskappe that some in especially the United States insist is essential to the defence of Our National Character and Identity as a Sovereign Peculiar Among the Nations is expected to mean anything, never mind some seeking to push the Calvinist trope which apartheid South Africa saw as a Holy of Holies about "every Nation [being] founded upon a Country (Landsbodem) allocated unto it by God" to new lows of depravity reeking of xenophobic jingoism and nativism rivalled only by North Korea.

Especially if the trope is used to excuse enforced poverty expected to be seen as essential towards reclaiming the Luscious Glory of a Life-Changing, Wealth-Enhancing, Prosperity for All that only ekonomesie vryheid, &c., is expected to make possible (or so "Tea Party," "9/12" and "Christian Patriot" thought wants the Real American to believe blindly, without question or reservation, any deviation therefrom expected to be seen as one with Moral Failure and Lapse that could lead to "error").

Not to mention also being a call to challenge such in the "Tea Party" and suchlike, and their prolefeed enablers, who seek to use "Communism" as a throwaway term against real or suspected opponents to their potentially dangerous agenda, or go so far as to (howbeit erroneously) conflate Communism with Fascism/Nazism ideologically (and with no understanding as to the essential ideological differences between them, particularly so when it comes to socioeconomic control--as in Communism's insisting that "the workers" [read: the State] control the means of production, supply and distribution whereas Fascism/Nazism insists on a capitalist model, subject to State interference and intervention; witness Mussolini's Fascisti establishing the 23 "companies in the national interest" as controlled the several economic sectors across Italy, many structured to prop up failing companies for purely political ends).

As well as challenging the notion certain highly-delusional "Tea Party" types have about "free trade is the new foreign aid," even to the extent of invoking The Great (Mis)communicator's Sacred and Profane Name and Stylee in service to this Grand Delusion on a par with Imperial Japan's delusions of grandeur before World War II known as the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere" ... reinforced with a mindset rivalling Portugal in the impotent twilight of its Estado Novo brand of Fascism through the early 1970's as insisted that her continued colonial presence in Africa and Asia was essential to her national and sovereign interests; hence, if Portugal lost said colonies to "Communist-inspired" independence movements especially, then Portugal's own continued existance as a sovereign peculiar was in danger.

In any event, all the more importance for the Real American Worker to challenge the lies and prolefeed of certain hyperconservative enablers using God and Country as cover for what may really be their exploitation and manipulation through cheap bumper-sticker slogans which can quickly cross the line into the hackneyed. And which, rather than trying to defend ekonomesie vryheid, &c., could be its manipulation as a tool of "Tea Party" power which can risk crossing that very dangerous line into the perverted, commonly known as "oligarchal" or "crony" capitalism--the latter being what apartheid South Africa wound up with as indirect byproduct of the Afrikaner Economic Movement of the late 1930's which had good intentions about seeking the socioeconomic uplift of an otherwise "poor white" subpopulace through, for one, a new "people-centred" model of ekonomesie vryheid, &c., packaged as Volkskapitalisme ("people's capitalism") ... only to have the hyper-secretive Afrikaner Broederbond, through its well-heeled connexions with especially the life insurer Sanlam and the Volkskas banking house (since merged into ABSA), amount to a socioeconomic "deep state" of sorts, excusing its secrecy as essential to the Greater Good of the Afrikaner Volk.

So, Real American Worker: Are you MAN ... or are you MOUSE? "Man is the Master of Everything, and decides Everything."
